Royal Spa Marienbad: MARIA SPA COURTYARD**** opens in June 2011
http://www.royal-spas.net/englisch/Marienbad.htm
Maria Spa Courtyard is a unique product, which mirrors the history of Marianske Lazně. The spa resort - which has always specialised in the usage of natural resources - was the first place in Europe and maybe in the world where peat was used for healing (historical name Mud Bath). Maria Spa Courtyard is also the place where the natural CO2 Maria’s gas emerges, which then gave its name to the town ‐ Marianske Lazně.
